CNC Maintenance Technician / Industrial Maintenance Technician
We are hiring a CNC Maintenance Technician / Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume manufacturing environment focused on precision machining and production equipment reliability.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, working across mechanical and electrical systems, and playing a key role in keeping production running.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC machine tools , including vertical and horizontal turning centers and multi-axis mills
- Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on production equipment
- Support and help improve a preventive maintenance (PM) program to minimize downtime
- Diagnose equipment issues and coordinate repairs, including working with outside vendors when needed
- Assist with machine rebuilds, retrofits, and equipment upgrades
- Support overall facility maintenance needs tied to production operations
- Communicate closely with manufacturing leadership to ensure equipment uptime and reliability
- Help guide and train less experienced maintenance technicians
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
- Strong experience troubleshooting CNC machines or machine tools
Hands-on knowledge of:
- Electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Mechanical systems
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Welding and fabrication (preferred)
- Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs (PM/CMMS)
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to production needs
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with machine rebuilds or retrofits
- Exposure to multi-axis CNC equipment (3, 4, or 5 axis)
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 – $90,000+ (based on experience)
