Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Pay: $20 - $28 per hour

**Key Responsibilities: **


- Prepare and process payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including timesheets, deductions, and tax information.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, providing excellent customer service.
- Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the HR team to facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Generate payroll reports and assist with audits as required.
- Stay current on payroll processing trends and best practices.


**Qualifications:**


- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Proven experience in payroll processing or payroll-related roles.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Effective communication
