This full-time position is crucial to our warehouse efficiency, involving the precise handling and preparation of materials for distribution.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Material Handler Details:Temporary position$19.75 to $21.25 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Friday)Schedules:A Shift Sunday – Wednesday 6am-4:30pm (off every other Wednesday, 40 hours one week, 30 hours the next), $19.50B Shift Wednesday – Saturday 6am-4:30pm (off every other Wednesday, 40 hours one week, 30 hours the next), $19.50C Shift Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM, $21.25Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the physical capability to meet job demands in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Accurately sort and stage boxes onto designated skids based on store number specifications.Manually shrink-wrap completed skids to ensure secure and stable loads for transport.Lift and move materials, with the occasional requirement to handle items weighing up to 75 pounds.Adhere strictly to all facility safety guidelines, operational procedures, and company policies.Material Handler Qualifications:Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials, with the capacity to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching for extended periods during the shift.Possess manual dexterity required for handling materials and manual shrink wrapping of skids.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employmentA conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
