We are seeking an experienced, versatile Multi‑Skilled Carpenter to join our home maintenance team at Ace Handyman Services. This role involves working independently or as part of a team to complete residential and commercial maintenance and repair jobs efficiently and to a high standard. Job Title Multi‑Skilled Carpenter – Residential and Commercial Location Ace Handyman Services of West St. Louis County Job Type Full‑Time Reports To Owner Compensation $30.00 – $34.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Perform carpentry tasks (doors, trim, cabinetry, framing) Execute basic plumbing repairs (fixture replacement, leak repairs, minor installations) Conduct basic electrical work (outlet/switch replacement, light fixture installation) Repair drywall and paint surfaces Install tile and complete grouting Carry out general handyman duties Diagnose issues and recommend solutions with minimal supervision Ensure high‑quality work and customer satisfaction Maintain a clean, organized work area Accurately track time, materials used, and job progress Communicate effectively with customers and office staff Adhere to safety guidelines and company procedures Qualifications 3+ years of experience in residential maintenance, remodeling, or general handyman services Strong proficiency in a variety of trades Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools safely and effectively Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and dependable Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks Preferred Qualifications Vocational or technical training in construction or related fields Certifications in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC Previous customer‑facing experience Benefits Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan with match Bonus based on performance Company vehicle Competitive hourly wage #J-18808-Ljbffr Ace Handyman Services Capital District Saratoga Region
