Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Surgical TechnologistThis contract position is for a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. The expectation is to assist in general trauma, ortho trauma, vascular, neuro, and robotic surgeries. The unit has 14 operating rooms, including 2 heart rooms and 1 hybrid room. There are 120 staff members on this unit, including RNs, techs, and other support staff. Patient ratios on the unit are typically 1 to 1. Typical procedures performed include general surgery, gynecology, neuro, ortho, plastics, vascular, ENT, and urology. The ideal candidate should possess a flexible attitude and a positive approach to teamwork. Scrubs will be provided in ciel blue. The unit has been recognized as a Unit of Distinction on three occasions. This position also allows for exposure to new equipment and technology, enhancing the surgical experience and practice.
