This role offers the opportunity to work as a pharmacist specializing in mail order and retail pharmacy services, with a focus on enhancing patient health outcomes through effective medication management and education.

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct proactive patient counseling and medication education over the phone, addressing inquiries related to new prescriptions, refills, side effects, medication adherence, and proper usage.
• Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions to ensure therapeutic appropriateness, evaluate potential drug interactions, check for contraindications, and confirm dosing accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Possess a clear and active pharmacist license in the state of Idaho or be willing to obtain Idaho licensure.
• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare providers.
• Experience in both mail order and retail pharmacy settings is preferred to manage diverse pharmacy operations efficiently.
