POSITION SUMMARY

Are you a trial attorney who loves investigating complex problems, building a case from the ground up, and winning in the courtroom? We're looking for someone with real trial experience — the substantive law is trainable, the courtroom instincts are not.

We handle fire losses, major residential and commercial property damage claims, lithium battery fires, product failures, construction defects, and other high-value cases. Think forensic experts, site inspections, cause-and-origin investigations, and high-impact litigation that helps clients recover millions. If you love digging into the facts, working with experts, and trying cases — this role was built for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Take ownership of a diverse caseload involving fires, structural failures, water losses, and large-scale property damage
• Handle cases involving lithium battery fires and other defective products causing significant losses to residential and commercial properties
• Work closely with investigators, engineers, and industry experts to piece together what happened and who's responsible
• Draft pleadings, conduct depositions, negotiate settlements, and manage cases from start to finish
• Analyze contracts, technical reports, and complex documents
• Represent clients in court and at hearings with confidence and professionalism

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in Ohio, or ability to obtain admission
• 3–6 years of litigation experience with meaningful trial experience — we are looking for someone who has taken cases all the way through trial, start to finish, and is not afraid of the courtroom
• Trial experience in any practice area is welcomed — civil, criminal, family, insurance defense, plaintiffs' work, or otherwise. If you've tried cases and love the courtroom, we want to hear from you. We will train the right attorney on the substantive law
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to dig deep into the facts
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
