Position SummaryAs a whey trainee, you will work alongside experienced operators to learn how whey is processed, dried, and packaged-building the skills to grow into other roles within our Whey team. You\ 'll learn different areas of the whey operation while working closely with experienced operators and supervisors. No prior whey experience is required-we provide training. What You\ 'll DoLearn and assist in multiple whey processing roles while training on the jobSupport operators during equipment cleaning and sanitation processesHelp prepare, clean, and maintain processing equipment following standard proceduresMonitor basic process conditions during start-up, shutdown, and cleaning cyclesPerform routine cleaning and simple preventative maintenance tasksMove finished whey and lactose products to designated storage areasSafely handle and work with cleaning chemicals while wearing the required protective equipmentComplete production and quality paperwork accuratelyFollow food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures at all timesCommunicate with team leads and supervisors to keep operations running safely and smoothlyAttend required safety, quality, and job training sessions What We\ 're Looking ForTeam-oriented with a willingness to learnGood communication skillsAttention to detailAbility to problem-solve and follow instructionsInitiative and reliability This position does not supervise other employees.
