Job Location 150 N Chestnut St, Rochester, New York, United States of America, 14604 Position Details Opening: Regular Time Type: Full time Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Department: 500468 Psych Ambulatory Nursing Work Shift: UR - Day (United States of America) Range: UR URCI 214 H Compensation Range: $35.35 - $45.96 Responsibilities Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. Work across multiple care areas in Ambulatory Psychiatry mental health clinics; augment staffing in designated areas on a temporary basis. Responsibilities include processing refill requests, prior authorizations, primary care screens, providing in-basket coverage, medication administration, coordination of care, and telephone triage. Must possess strong assessment and communication skills; be proactive and independent in decision making; have good organizational skills. Candidate must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; be flexible to the changing needs of the assignment. Psychiatric experience required; outpatient experience preferred.
