Position Details

• Employment type: Full-time, Part-time, or PRN

• Schedule: Flexible, based on position and facility needs

What You’ll Do

• Provide occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

• Document treatments, resident responses, and progress accurately and timely.

• Collaborate with Nursing, MDS, and other interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals.

• Communicate changes in resident status, progress, and treatment needs to the supervising therapist and appropriate team members.

• Participate in care plan meetings and rehabilitation conferences as needed.

• Educate residents, families, and facility staff on carryover techniques and maintenance programs as appropriate.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment.

• Complete treatment charges and other required documentation in accordance with facility policies.

• Contribute to a positive team culture and support quality improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Current California Occupational Therapy Assistant license.

• A genuine interest in helping residents improve their function, independence, and quality of life.

• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

• A collaborative, team-oriented attitude.

• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of a rehabilitation department.
