Breast Care Registered Nurse (RN) Imaging Navigator - Breast Health (Days)

Plans, coordinates, and carries out the activities of the (1) Self-Referral Mammography Program. (2) Recommended Patient follow-up (ACR 0, ACR 3, ACR 4, 5 and 6). (3) Provides breast health information education and support to patients and families through breast care diagnostic studies process (4) Assists Breast Cancer Nurse Navigator. (5) Patient and Community Education. The Nurse Breast Health Navigator is a proficient nurse who has an in-depth knowledge of nursing practice and takes responsibility for the development and nurturing of self while enhancing the Breast Health program. This position will include accountability for maintaining high standards of patient care and patient education. Work is carried out in an independent, professional manner with minimal supervision. Required Knowledge & Skills Education: Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework Experience: One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures. Licenses and Certifications GEORGIA REGISTERED NURSE LICENSE OR MULTISTATE NURSING LICENSE
