Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse

The Operating Room provides cardiac care to surgical and procedural sedation patients. We serve a diverse population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients. The team collaborates with a variety of provider specialties. We are committed to delivering care that prepares patients for discharge the same day or for admission to the hospital.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years in relevant nursing experience
• One year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the Operating Room or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing class
• Two years experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and/or a medical/surgical acute care setting
• One year experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)/Open Heart is required
• ICU experience is preferred
• Scrubbing experience is preferred

License:

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
• AHA ACLS required

Must-Have:

• Experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing
