Job Details Job Location: Richland, WA 99354 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Master’s Degree Salary Range: $38.46 - $45.67 per hour Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Work Shift: Day Position Summary Provides clinical mental health services to children, families, and adults in an outpatient community mental health clinic, client homes, or community-based locations such as schools. Responsibilities include intakes, diagnosis, case management, and mental health treatment services to identified clients. Work schedule is Monday‑Friday business hours with required on‑call coverage on two nights per week until 7:00pm. Responsibilities Provide intake assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing culturally sensitive treatment to children, families, and adults using evidence‑based practices. Complete required documentation within the identified timeframes. Develop clinical treatment plans focusing on client strengths, culture, needs, and goals within the briefest time frame for successful achievement. Maintain encounters/productivity of 60% of reportable/billable services. Participate in ongoing continuous quality improvement to ensure services demonstrate best practice standards and meet all contractual requirements. Actively participate in individual and group supervision, clinical staff meetings, and other multi‑disciplinary meetings. Staff cases requiring specialist consultations and psychiatric consultation as required. Coordinate client treatment with schools, physicians, and other community resources and referrals to community services whenever necessary. Observe confidentiality in all related program functions with staff and clients. Establish and maintain working relationships with other community mental health providers, primary care, and other referral sources. Provide routine services and on‑call coverage outside of standard business hours if required by assigned program or team. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Normal standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion. Talking and hearing on a regular basis to perform job requirements. Requires ability to drive with adequate vision. Non-Physical Requirements Licensed clinical mental health counselor (LMHC), marriage & family therapist (LMFT), or licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) in Washington State. Alternately, for associate level, mental health counselor associate (LMHCA), marriage & family therapist associate (LMFTA), independent clinical social worker associate (LICSWA), or licensed agency affiliated counselor (LAAC) in Washington State. Minimum salary ranges: $38.46 - $45.67 per hour for associate levels; $85,000 - $95,000 per year for licensed levels. Minimum Requirements for All Candidates Master’s degree in social work, counseling, clinical psychology, or a related field leading to eligibility for clinical licensure. Two years of experience working with children, families, and adults in a professional outpatient setting. Valid Washington driver’s license and minimum required liability insurance for WA State. Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities liability insurance provider. Operate from a strengths‑based perspective. Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge. Good verbal and written communication skills and excellent documentation skills. Ability to provide services in a culturally sensitive manner. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to work collaboratively with referral sources. Ability to represent the agency professionally within the community. Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred, but not required.
