Automotive Body Shop Technician

Automotive Combo Body Technician: Body Shop Technician and Painter Nourse Chillicothe Automall is currently seeking a qualified Combo Body Shop Technician/ Painter for our Collision Center. Nourse Collision Center is located in the heart of Chillicothe, and is one of the most comprehensive body shops within a 50 mile radius! To maintain this level of work, this position requires an experienced candidate of 2+ years as an auto body technician, ASE and I-CAR Certification. Some of the responsibilities of this employee would include: Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical, and hydraulic window and seating equipment, and trim to gain access fenders and other body panels Use a dolly to remove dents Filling depressions with filler using a putty knife Removing and replacing damaged fenders, hoods, doors, and other panels Bolt or weld replacement parts in position Straighten damaged or bent frames with a pneumatic frame straightening machine File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces Refinish repaired surfaces with a paint gun and sander Aim headlights, align wheels, and bleed hydraulic brake systems Repair or replace defective mechanical parts What We Can Offer You: Medical, Life, Disability, Vision, and Dental Insurance 401K Plan Equal Opportunity Employer Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license Must have an insurable driving record Must have 2+ years of experience as a collision repair technician ASE Certification Required, I-CARcertification preferred Must have a professional appearance and work ethic Ability to take direction and execute team and company objectives Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as work outside Ability to drive automatic and standard transmission vehicles About Nourse Chillicothe Automall Nourse Chillicothe Automall is a family-owned auto dealership with over 30-years of experience in automotive sales, service and customer satisfaction in the area.
