Production Associate

Overview Georgia-Pacific is hiring Production Associates at its Corrugated facility in Mogadore, OH. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $23.69 per hour Shift Differential: $0.50 for second shift & $1.00 for third shift Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation annually after 90 days of service Shifts There are two shifts at the facility: Rotating 1st Shift & 2nd Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (rotates weekly) Fixed 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (does not rotate) Orientation Note: First week of orientation on 1st shift. Shift Flexibility: Candidates must be flexible and available for any shift, overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed. Final shift assignments will be determined at hiring. Location Corrugated facility, Mogadore, OH. Responsibilities Lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours per day in a non–climate controlled, loud/noisy industrial environment. Operate equipment to meet defined standards and product specification targets. Monitor and enter data into computer control systems. Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production. Perform basic asset care duties, including routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of work area. Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals. Operate and/or work around mobile equipment. Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Experience in an industrial setting. Basic math and measurement skills (e.g., using a tape measure, calculating dimensions). What Will Put You Ahead: Post–high school education in manufacturing/industrial. Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device. 1+ years experience in manufacturing or industrial environment. 1+ years operating a forklift.
