Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a dynamic Emergency Room setting. Flexibility to work in MedSurg is also available based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Educate patients and family members on post-discharge care and health management.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with current state certification.
• Have at least two years of recent ER nursing experience.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills in high-pressure environments.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be comfortable working in MedSurg units if needed, with knowledge of patient ratios (1:3-1:5).
• Flexibility to work shifts as required, with orientation typically lasting 1-2 shifts.
