Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Summary:


We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory & Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to support daily warehouse and inventory operations. This role is responsible for verifying incoming products, matching shipments to invoices, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and goods out of the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting a small, collaborative team.


Key Responsibilities:

• Check in incoming products and verify accuracy against invoices and purchase orders
• Ensure incoming shipments are correct and report any discrepancies
• Organize and maintain inventory for accuracy and accessibility
• Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory control processes
• Understand and manage goods in / goods out procedures
• Interface with clients and provide excellent customer service
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to track inventory and maintain records
• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts as needed
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities to support daily operations
• Support additional tasks and responsibilities as needed in a small team environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations required
• Experience with SAP and ERP systems preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Forklift experience (sit-down and stand-up) preferred
• Flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as business needs require

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency required
• SAP and ERP experience preferred

• Pay: $19/hr.
• Mon-Fri: 7AM- 5PM
• Warren,Michigan
