Physical Therapist (PT)Location: Edison, NJJob Type: Full-TimeSetting: Outpatient Physical TherapySchedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-FridayPosition OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join an outpatient rehabilitation team in Edison, NJ. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to help patients restore function, improve mobility, and manage pain.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Physical Therapist looking to grow their career in a collaborative outpatient environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients' physical abilities, limitations, and functional needs.Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and appropriate pain-management techniques.Educate patients and families on rehabilitation, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).Follow applicable healthcare regulations, safety standards, and clinical best practices.Participate in initiatives designed to improve patient outcomes and clinic operations.QualificationsDoctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.Current CPR/BLS certification.Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities and exercise prescription.Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and documentation skills.Prior clinical experience in an outpatient, orthopedic, or rehabilitation setting is preferred.ScheduleFull-time, 40 hours per weekMonday-FridayFour 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shiftsNo weekend requirementPatient Population & CaseloadAdult patient populationApproximately 20-25 patients per dayOutpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation settingCompensation & BenefitsPaid time offSick timeMedical, dental, and vision insuranceAccident and critical illness insuranceLife insurance401(k) with company matchYearly bonusStart Date: As soon as possible For more information, please contact Brenda at View phone number on click.appcast.io or by email at View email address on click.appcast.io.
