Information Technology Field Technician

Duration: 3 Month (Contract to Hire) Pay Rate: $21/hr. Job Summary We are seeking a Level 3 IT Support Technician to provide onsite IT support in an enterprise environment. This role is responsible for laptop deployments, OS installations, data migration, advanced hardware/software troubleshooting, asset management, inventory control, and delivering excellent end-user support. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, image, and deploy Windows laptops and desktops. Perform user data migration to new devices. Troubleshoot and resolve advanced hardware, software, and Windows OS issues. Manage and update incidents and service requests in ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system. Process returned IT assets, prepare equipment for redeployment or e-waste disposal, and maintain accurate inventory records. Load, unload, distribute, and collect IT equipment while ensuring proper asset tracking. Perform inventory audits and maintain asset management databases. Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, IM, and in person. Document all work performed and ensure timely ticket resolution. Required Qualifications 3+ years of IT Support, Desktop Support, or Field Service experience. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 installation, configuration, imaging, and troubleshooting. Experience with hardware/software break-fix, laptop deployment, and data migration. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr Open Systems Inc.
