Job Description

Our client is seeking a reliable Shipping Janitor Associate for their Shipping Department in Suwanee, GA. This position is responsible for performing facility cleaning, sanitation, maintenance support, and general janitorial duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to assist with a variety of daily tasks throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties throughout the facility and shipping department
• Collect and dispose of trash and waste materials properly
• Break down, repair, and dispose of damaged pallets as needed
• Assist with baling operations and maintaining organized work areas
• Clean and maintain golf carts and facility equipment
• Provide backup support for cleaning breakrooms and restrooms
• Stock and maintain janitorial and supply rooms
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures
• Notify management of maintenance or safety concerns
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
• Provide general support to the shipping department as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous janitorial, maintenance, or cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and janitorial supplies
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment
• Physically able to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings including background check and drug test
