Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies tailored for diverse abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with parents, staff, and support professionals
- Dedication to continuous professional growth and up-to-date practices in special education
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans aligned with each student’s IEP
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet evolving needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to facilitate optimal learning environments
- Maintain detailed records, including progress reports and IEP documentation
- Support students in building academic, social, and adaptive skills in classroom and community settings
