Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a variety of surgical specialties including laparoscopy, robotic surgery, plastic, neuro, laparotomy, urology, orthopedics, and ENT procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team including Surgical Techs, OR Aides, Supply Techs, and unit support staff
• Accurately document patient care activities using the Meditech documentation system
• Fulfill on-call requirements as assigned, approximately 3–4 times per month

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience, or StarRN program completion
• Current ACLS certification (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Current PALS certification (required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced surgical environment and function independently
