DevOps Engineer

Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a DevOps Engineer. Summary: The DevOps Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining technical software applications and provides a combination of technical and business leadership while being the primary trusted and capable owner of one or more high priority, high visibility, complex initiatives. The DevOps Engineer will typically lead and coach a small number of team members (e.g., an architect, systems analyst, etc.) and provide guidance to a larger community. Duties:
- Application performance review and applying the right tuning
- Behavioral analytics and providing the traffic forecast and take necessary actions
- Reviewing from monitoring aspects and setting up right monitors for support teams
- Service availability improvements
- Experience working with complex Web/mobile development projects
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent technical knowledge with experience in supporting large-scale applications
- Ability to identify issues quickly and resolve
- Experience with diagnostics tools to identify root cause in application code.
- Hands on knowledge with micro services architecture, Java spring boot API development, react front end, any known relational Database
- Experience with private/public cloud environment
