We are seeking a Java Developer with strong expertise in Java 10+ and modern backend application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native applications. Exposure to Hadoop ecosystem technologies is required to support data-intensive applications and integrations, though this is not a core Hadoop development role.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Develop scalable Microservices and REST APIs.

- Integrate applications with distributed data platforms and messaging systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Optimize application performance and scalability.

- Work in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Support data processing and integration workflows involving Hadoop-based platforms.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

- Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.

- Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architecture.

- Experience with OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes.

- Good understanding of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.

- Understanding of software design patterns and secure coding practices.

Hadoop Experience (Good to Have / Secondary Skill)

Candidate should possess working knowledge of:

- Hadoop ecosystem concepts (HDFS, YARN, Hive)

- Basic Hive query development and troubleshooting

- Understanding of data ingestion and batch processing workflows

- Experience working with Hadoop-based data platforms in support of application development

- Exposure to Spark is a plus

Note: Hadoop is a secondary skill. Candidates are not expected to perform deep Hadoop administration, cluster management, or advanced big-data engineering.
