Senior Medical Science Liaison, Inflammation - CT/NY

Amgen seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison for the Inflammation therapeutic area covering Connecticut and New York. The role involves scientific engagement with healthcare providers across multiple specialties, field-based work with 60-70% travel, and support of medical strategy execution and clinical research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchange with respiratory, gastroenterology, and related specialty healthcare providers and opinion leaders
• Engage clinical investigators and research sites to support pipeline development and therapeutic area expansion
• Communicate clinical evidence and health economic data to population health decision makers in health systems
• Support Amgen-sponsored research studies and liaise with potential investigators on non-sponsored clinical research
• Gather field insights and present observations to internal teams; lead or support congress activities and speaker training

Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 2+ years medical affairs experience, or Master's with 6+ years, or Bachelor's with 8+ years
• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or other doctoral degree preferred
• 7+ years medically related experience including clinical practice, research, or postdoctoral training
• 2+ years as Medical Science Liaison at biotech or pharmaceutical company
• Expertise in Respiratory, Gastroenterology, and/or Inflammation therapeutic areas
• Territory experience in Connecticut and New York markets preferred
