Medical Assistant

We are looking for afull-time Medical Assistantto perform various office and clinical dutiesto keep our healthcare practice running efficiently. Our Medical Assistantswill work directly with healthcare practice staff to maintain patient records. Duties and Responsibilities: Triage patients efficiently as per clinic standardoperating protocols. Record patient information such as vital signs and weight. Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patientappointments. Help in the front office as needed, taking care oftasks such as answering phone calls and greeting patients as they enterthe facility. Assist in maintaining themedical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed. Schedule: Monday - Friday, with one half-day off. Must work one weekend a month. Requirements forInterview: Great attitude Pediatric experience is a plus High level of professionalism Strong customer service skills Experience in using electronic medical records Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be willing to work in a team setting RequiredSkills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail, effective organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Education/Experience: Requires a high school diploma or Equivalent Physical/MentalDemands: Requires the ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds Prior medical office experience is preferred but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
