Job Description Job Description RN Behavioral Health Nurse Louisville,KY AMS Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated nurses RNs to care for adults in behavioral healthcare facility in Louisville, KY Full time and prn nights available 12-hour shifts 7p-7a and Job Description Provide care for patients with mental and behavioral health issues. Assess patient behavior and physical health information and deliver nursing care as directed. Administer prescribed medication and monitor patient’s responses/side effects. Document and report changes in patient’s behavior and health Review patients’ charts Transcribe orders from MD. Work with members of the interdisciplinary health care team Educate patients and their families. Qualifications: Good communication skills Ability to set boundaries. Hold an unencumbered nursing license.
