Assistant Nurse Manager – Critical Care (Full Time) Job Summary The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) reports to the unit director/manager and uses the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within the assigned shift. The ANM supports the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit, provides managerial presence for all shifts, manages clinical and non‑clinical caregivers, and offers input for performance evaluations. Responsibilities Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate unit services. Maintain managerial presence for all shifts. Manage clinical and non‑clinical caregivers and coach, mentor, and collaborate to deliver quality health care. Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, policies, processes, and clinical priorities. Implement and monitor compliance procedures and support continuous improvement. Provide input to the director/manager for performance evaluation and feedback. Required Qualifications Graduate from a School of Nursing (BS or BSN). Registered Nurse license in Oregon upon hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire. Prior experience as a Registered Nurse is encouraged but not required for employment. Preferred Qualifications Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital. Experience with Shared Governance. Benefits Free, convenient, and ample parking.
