Job Description
Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715, with a rotation of 3 nights per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide specialized care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit, including a focus on COVID-19 patients. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• CCRN certification is preferred.

Holiday Expectations

The candidate must be available to work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day, and 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
