Overview Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) – Labor & Delivery focus, Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Start date 06/15/2026 for an 8-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $1,250–$1,341 per week. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,250–$1,341 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 8 weeks Shift: 2x3 Days Start date: 06/15/2026 Travel assignment in a hospital operating department Responsibilities Prepare and maintain sterile field for Labor & Delivery surgical cases, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and dilation and curettage procedures Pass instruments, handle supplies, and assist the surgical team during operations Set up and break down OR rooms, perform instrument counts, and manage specimen handling per protocol Assist with patient positioning, draping, suctioning, and maintaining patient safety and comfort during procedures Maintain documentation, adhere to sterile technique, and support perioperative workflows Participate in an on-call rotation (1 call every call shift on a 6-week cycle) as assigned Requirements GAPS registration required for submission; local candidates preferred due to longer fingerprinting processing times for non-locals National Certification Card (as indicated in job notes) Minimum 2 years of experience in the OR tech specialty, with strong Labor & Delivery experience Must provide Work History/Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, Skills Checklist, References Demonstrated ability to work in a Labor & Delivery surgical setting and support perioperative teams Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours: 36 per week 8-week travel assignment Clear start date and shift pattern for scheduling Submission requirements include comprehensive profile data and credentials to support onboarding Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
