The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and administrative skills, excellent patient interaction abilities, and hands-on experience using Athena EMR.This position plays a critical role in supporting physicians and delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for examinations and proceduresObtain and document vital signs and patient historiesAssist physicians during examinations and proceduresAccurately document patient information in Athena EMREnter physician orders and referral informationProvide excellent customer service to patients and familiesMaintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentialityRequired QualificationsCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification requiredMinimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experienceAthena EMR experience requiredHigh School Diploma or GEDStrong computer and documentation skillsExcellent communication and patient service skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced medical officePreferred QualificationsRegistry certification preferredWomen's Health, OB/GYN, or specialty clinic experience preferredExperience with insurance authorizations and referralsCompensation & Benefits$17.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experienceFull-time opportunityStable, professional medical practice environmentOpportunity to work with an experienced clinical team
