Field Reimbursement Manager

The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is responsible for managing an assigned territory focused on supporting Reimbursement and Patient services for a specific drug, including Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, Claims Assistance, and Appeals. The role is client‑ and customer‑facing, building relationships with physician offices and manufacturer representatives to deliver services based on customer preferences. Key Responsibilities Provide on‑site and on‑demand education (e.g., Lunch & Learn, Dinner presentations) for office staff regarding reimbursement challenges and available support services. 15 on‑site/virtual interactions per week, recorded daily in FRM CRM with weekly manager reporting. Educate teams on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization Process, Support Center Services, Medicare and Commercial coverage, and patient communication streams. Deliver monthly activity reporting of educational topics at the FRM level, with quarterly data reported to the client. Provide reimbursement support for case management, billing/coding updates, appropriate claims submission, specialty pharmacy, medical benefit interpretation, medical necessity, claims and appeal assistance, copay assistance, and patient assistance programs. Collaborate with case managers (average 4 per month, adhoc as needed) and record all interactions in FRM CRM and hub system. Set up appointments and make outbound calls to targeted offices, assisting in backlog casework and additional day‑to‑day in‑office tasks. Interface with physicians and manufacturer representatives to obtain and provide patient and provider information. Monitor program performance for physicians and manufacturer representatives via the FRM CRM dashboard daily, identifying trends for quarterly reporting. Optional client surveys on program performance are also conducted. Research and compile provider/manufacturer representative specific information for the reimbursement database, creating a facility database in FRM CRM for each new provider. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of healthcare‑related reimbursement experience. Strong medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy. Experience in insurance verification, prior authorizations, and/or claim adjudication, physician office or clinic environments. Must have Medicare and commercial insurance coverage experience and be able to document benefit investigation outcomes. Proven presentation skills and ability to handle multiple priorities with excellent organizational skills. Strong computer literacy, including PowerPoint and web‑meeting experience. Previous field experience and/or specialty pharmacy experience are a plus. Account management experience is a plus. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Ability to travel 80% (four days a week) by automobile or plane; must reside in the territory: AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, GA, SC, NC, FL and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record/MVR. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR). Compensation & Benefits Base Pay Range: $80,300 – $133,800.
