Join Our Team as a Baker – Mixer & Shaper at Bread Lounge!

Bread Lounge, a wholesale artisan bakery located in Los Angeles, CA, is looking for a talented and dedicated Baker – Mixer & Shaper to join our production team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in crafting high-quality breads, we’d love to hear from you!

As a Baker – Mixer & Shaper, you'll play a key role in our production process, working with artisan breads from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:

• Mixing bread dough according to recipes and production schedules.
• Monitoring dough temperature, consistency, and fermentation to ensure quality.
• Dividing and shaping different types of artisan breads with precision.
• Preparing dough for proofing and baking.
• Following production schedules and maintaining our high-quality standards.
• Keeping your work area clean and organized.
• Adhering to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures.
• Collaborating efficiently with the production team to meet daily goals.

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• At least 1 year of experience in a commercial bakery setting.
• Strong skills in mixing and shaping artisan bread (preferred).
• Comfort working with large batches of dough.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Physical ability to lift and handle bakery ingredients and equipment as needed.
• A detail-oriented mindset to follow instructions and maintain consistent product quality.

This is a full-time position , and bakery production hours may include afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on the role.
