Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including personal care, vital signs, and basic care needs
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition, including vital signs and behavioral changes
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and treatment
• Promote a positive and respectful environment, fostering a sense of community and comfort among residents
• Participate in in-service training and educational programs to stay current with industry best practices

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the state of Texas
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
