To learn more, please visit You'll Be Responsible For In This RoleThis role contributes to Health Ade's success by overseeing shift manufacturing and production operations, with a strong emphasis in sanitation. The supervisor will ensure all sanitation processes meet regulatory and company standards while supporting production and maintenance teams to maintain efficient plant operations.Job DutiesSanitation Oversight (Primary)Lead and support sanitation team members to ensure all cleaning and sanitation tasks are completedDirects and monitors all sanitation workers and schedules sanitation activities in accordance with the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)Drives the engagement, development, and performance of all members of their teamDirects SSOP program and master sanitation program; directly verifies compliance by the sanitation crew, reviews and maintains all documentationProvides or coordinates on-going training and ensures development of the sanitation crew to ensure that sanitation partners possess active working knowledge of all sanitation and cleaning proceduresExecute and support CIP, COP, and external sanitation activities per approved proceduresEnsures cleaning/sanitation chemicals and tools are being used safely, correctly, and effectivelyWorks with the Production Manager to identify resource needsControls the Sanitation Department budgets by properly utilizing resources and developing cost-savings ideasParticipates in selection, discipline, evaluation and development of department membersOrdering of required supplies for sanitation processesAssists the Quality Assurance Department with inspection and testing activities through stages of the manufacturing processes to ensure internal and regulatory standards are met.Collaborates with QA, Production, and Maintenance staff to solve food safety and quality issuesMaintains product quality through adherence to good manufacturing practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications and quality procedures.Monitors and documents quality measures using analytical toolsDemonstrates and understands safety as our core value and follows the key essentials to safety as set forth by our safety resolution; coaches others to do the sameUnderstand and follows established safety guidelines, consistently complies with all safety procedures (e.g. PPE, Lock Out Tag Out)Reinforces safe practices to other team members and provides coaching when witness to unsafe practicesActs as a safety change agent (e.g. CPR/First Aid certification; active engagement in safety committee, drives safety initiatives for department)Performs other duties as needed in support of business objectives and Health-Ade Mission & ValuesMaintains regular and consistent attendance and punctualityResponsible for onboarding and training of sanitation employees, including MSS expectations, chemical safety, CIP/COP basics, and external cleaning standardsAssist with internal and external audits (GMP, SQF, FDA, customer) by providing documentation and operational supportMaintenance SupportProvide leadership and guidance to maintenance technicians during the 3rd shiftTroubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs or adjustmentsCollaborate with maintenance to prioritize repairs and preventative maintenance tasks that impact sanitation or production readinessEnsure all equipment cleaning and maintenance tasks are coordinated to minimize downtimeProduction SupportSupport production teams to ensure lines are ready for start-up after sanitation completionCommunicate operational status, sanitation coverage, and maintenance issues to production and leadership teamsAssist in monitoring production metrics and identifying operational bottlenecks related to sanitation or equipmentEnvironmental & Compliance OversightManage environmental program and communicate potential wastewater or discharge concerns to QA or site leadershipWrite and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with Controlled Documents PolicyEnsure only approved sanitation chemicals and tools are usedMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentOther duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required, with 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, food production, or sanitationExperience leading or training teamsPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with Master Sanitation Schedules (MSS) and sanitation documentation systemsExposure to food safety programs such as GMPs, SQF, or FDA-regulated environmentsExperience supporting pre-op inspections or sanitation verificationsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)Physical Demands:Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. in an occasional manner.Must be able to grasp with fingers and hand for extended periods of time in a repetitive motion.Must be able to use 3-points of contact when climbing or descending stairs.Must be able to stoop, bend at knees, and/or crouch in a repetitive manner.Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.Must be able to work in environmental exposure including, but not limited to, freezer and noisy, cold, wet, or humid conditions of 34°F or below.Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic, and/or caustic chemicals.Occasional material exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).Hours & Workdays3rd Shift – Monday through Saturday from 7:00pm to 3:30am;
