Description What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing established protocols.
• Ensure the accuracy of test results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform essential maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing, as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new colleagues or students, and help maintain the highest standards of lab quality.
• Keep the work environment clean and safe while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree and ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain your certification throughout the duration of employment.
