Staff Software Engineer (FinTech only!)

We're partnering with a venture-backed AI startup building next-generation digital workers for financial compliance teams. Their platform helps banks and fintechs automate investigations, customer reviews, transaction monitoring, and compliance workflows through AI.

This is a high-impact opportunity to work directly with founders, own major product initiatives end-to-end, and help define the future of AI-powered financial infrastructure.

What you'll be doing:

• Building and scaling complex full-stack products
• Designing and architecting large-scale distributed systems
• Developing AI-powered agents and intelligent workflows
• Integrating with financial data providers and compliance systems
• Shipping production-ready Python code at startup speed
• Working closely with customers to solve mission-critical problems

Key requirements:

• Exceptional full-stack engineering expertise
• Deep architectural experience with large-scale distributed systems and data management
• Strong Python experience
• Financial Compliance experience strongly preferred (+++)
• FinTech experience, particularly payments, highly valued (++)
• Experience working with ML, Deep Learning, and AI Agents (++)
• Strong product mindset with the ability to balance speed, quality, and customer needs
• Proven track record in fast-moving startup environments
• High ownership, urgency, and bias for action

Compensation & Benefits:

• $200K–$250K USD Base Salary
