As the Director of Clinical Services at River Rock Academy, you will support the leadership and oversight of clinical programming across multiple locations and programs. Working closely with the Senior Director of Clinical Services, you’ll help ensure consistent, evidence-based, and trauma-informed services while mentoring clinical staff, strengthening compliance, and driving positive student outcomes.

What You’ll Need

• Master’s degree in School Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related behavioral health field

• Clinical licensure such as LSW, LCSW, LPC, or School Psychologist preferred

• At least five years of experience providing clinical services to students

• Three years of leadership, supervision, or program management experience preferred

• Experience in educational, special education, behavioral health, or alternative education settings preferred

• Knowledge of Pennsylvania Department of Education regulations, trauma-informed care, behavioral interventions, and mental health services

• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, data analysis, and conflict-resolution skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound professional judgment, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

• Must be at least 21 years old

Why You’ll Do

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of clinical services across River Rock Academy programs and campuses

• Promote evidence-based, trauma-informed, and student-centered practices for students with complex behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs

• Support the implementation, fidelity, and expansion of River Rock Academy’s Dialectical Behavior Therapy framework

• Coach, mentor, and provide consultation to clinical staff through individual and group supervision, training, and performance feedback

• Review behavioral, social-emotional, mental health, and clinical outcome data to identify trends and improve programming

• Monitor clinical documentation, case management practices, service quality, and compliance with PDE, AEDY, PAL, FERPA, licensing, and ethical standards

• Partner with school leaders, district personnel, families, and community stakeholders to support student success

• Assist with crisis response, mandated reporting, behavioral emergencies, audits, corrective action plans, and quality-assurance initiatives

• Support clinical internships by helping recruit, onboard, supervise, and evaluate interns while building partnerships with colleges and universities

• Travel to assigned campuses and In-District Services locations as needed to support staff and programming
