Registered Nurse (ICU)

Location: Candidates residing 65+ miles from the facility/work location are eligible for a travel stipend.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Education

Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Experience

Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience.
ICU experience required.
Experience with EPIC documentation required.

Licenses & Certifications

Current RN License in the state of practice.
BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
ACLS Certification (American Heart Association).
CPI Certification (12-Month Blue Card from Crisis Prevention Institute).
Preferred: Specialty Nursing Certification.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with EMR systems, EPIC, and healthcare technology.
Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality patient care utilizing the Nursing Process.
Assess patient needs and provide patient/family education.
Adapt communication and care approaches based on patient populations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Delegate and manage nursing resources effectively.
Utilize clinical data and evidence-based practices to improve outcomes.
Promote patient satisfaction, staff engagement, and quality care initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Candidate

RN with ICU experience, EPIC proficiency, and current BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications.
Strong critical care, communication, and patient-centered care skills.
