Merchandising Specialist

As a Merchandising Specialist, you will:

1. Serve as Senior Inventory Management Specialist responsible for reviewing the system content to evaluate the quality and accuracy of data concerning advertising, direct mail marketing, broadcast ads, customer internet purchasing, product maintenance, and product discontinuance information and for preparing reports related to Sales and Marketing.
2. Participate in the development of priorities and develops strategies to analyze, forecast, and actual sales and inventory requirements.
3. Monitor inventory availability of numismatic products across all logical warehouse locations; identify re-order points along with entering, monitoring, and changing purchase orders to accurately communicate inventory availability to call center and website; process purchase orders requests for United States Mint sales locations; identify and correct all system transaction errors, which include, invoice errors, pick ticket voids, and inventory transaction errors; direct the fulfillment center to perform all inventory moves; review and approve all inventory adjustment requests; support audits.
4. Manage inventory physicals, de-trashing projects, and `end of year' efforts, and other projects.
5. Create and analyze a variety of reports in The Order Management System, these include, advertising, purchasing, in transit, backorder, sales, low inventory, UPC codes, set up, and physical inventory reports.
6. Establish merchandise inventory project requirements and priorities and develop strategies, including coordinating work requirements and project resources, to achieve short or long-term goals.
