MRI Technologist - Travel Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday to Wednesday, with call required.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for providing timely imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. This role requires the ability to adjust imaging parameters to study soft tissue, the arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, both with and without the use of contrast media.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures as per departmental protocols.
• Adjust imaging parameters for various studies.
• Work effectively with Radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging services.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend call rotation as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• MRT license in New Mexico.
• Siemens MRI experience preferred.
• ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (preferred but not required).
