SVP, Chief Claims Officer

For our client, we are seeking a SVP Chief Claims Officer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a regulated financial services environment. Location: Miami, FL - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 annually Responsibilities Develop and execute claims strategy aligned with corporate and growth goals Partner with underwriting and actuarial teams to analyze loss trends and emerging risks Lead end-to-end claims operations to enhance cycle time and accuracy Implement advanced analytics and automation to improve claims efficiency Oversee claims P&L performance, including loss ratios and reserving accuracy Collaborate to ensure adequacy of case reserves with actuarial teams Manage vendor relationships to optimize cost and performance Develop strategies for managing complex claims, including bodily injury cases Lead the anti-fraud strategy and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Build and lead a high-performing claims organization focused on talent development Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, JD) preferred Professional designations (CPCU, AIC, ARM) strongly preferred At least 15 years claims leadership experience in auto insurance, particularly in specialty or non-standard segments Proven track record in managing large-scale claims operations and improving loss ratios Deep expertise in bodily injury, litigation management, and claims analytics Benefits Hybrid work environment option from designated Claims office locations Opportunity to shape the future of claims operations in a specialty auto carrier Leadership development and succession planning opportunities within the organization Our client is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ladders
