Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Small Animal Internal Medicine. This appointment may be tenure-track or non-tenure-track, depending on the candidate’s professional goals and interests. The successful candidate will complete a collaborative team of four internists, two residents and one Internal Medicine Intern that provides advanced clinical care for small animal patients through the Companion Animal Clinic. Faculty members participate in the teaching of small animal medicine, clinical skills, and elective courses within the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) curriculum. In addition to clinical and didactic teaching responsibilities, all small animal faculty members serve as clinical mentors for interns and residents, fostering a supportive learning environment that emphasizes professional growth, clinical excellence, and lifelong learning. Our Internal Medicine service is supported by a growing specialty hospital that includes Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, Primary Care, Physical Rehabilitation, and Anesthesiology services, providing a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
