Details Hospital-based CT Tech position within the CT Tech unit Adult acute care and emergency department patient population 5x8 hour evening or night shifts, with start times varying between 15:00-23:30 and 19:00-03:30 Every weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs No floating required Epic EMR required, Allscripts experience preferred Requirements Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required First-time travelers accepted BLS and ARRT CT certification required; ARRT advanced cert and ARRT R preferred Active California license required at submission if applicable Experience with Siemens and Philips CT equipment required Proficiency in abdomen, chest, head, and vascular chest CT scans with and without contrast Skilled in multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), brain perfusion, CT arthrography, myelography, and colonography Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and trauma cases Proficient in starting peripheral IVs, aspirations, biopsies, and drainage procedures References required at submission Additional Information Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures across abdomen, chest, head, spine, and vascular studies Facility is smoke and nicotine-free; candidates must arrive free of tobacco odor RTO requests must be submitted upfront with the initial application Local candidates accepted at the travel rate Return staff considered on a case-by-case basis Candidates with license restrictions, disciplinary actions, or board investigations will not be considered Advanced EKG competency exam required prior to start, with a minimum passing score of 80% American Traveler Job ID P-748177.
