Chief Financial Officer

AVA Stellar Communications Array is a media production company that first took root as a record label in late 2023. Throughout AVA SCA's early development we have seen growth, both for our lead artist's portfolio and for internal R&D efforts. Role Description This is a full‑time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role based in or near Chicago, IL. The role starts as fully remote with access to private high‑rise conference space to enable collaborative efforts. The CFO will oversee and manage financial operations, including developing and executing financial strategies, preparing financial reports, and leading efforts to mature revenue streams. Role Responsibilities Preparing financial reports, budgeting, tax records, and other documentation. Secure early funding to mature self‑sustaining revenue streams. Build out the CFO role to balance CEO responsibilities. Develop relationships with legal counsel for future retention. Qualifications Expertise in Financial Planning, Finance, and Financial Strategies Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret and use financial data for impactful decision‑making Proven leadership and team management capabilities Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred Thorough understanding of regulations, compliance standards, and accounting principles Strong problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience in the communications or technology industry is an advantage Seniority Level Executive Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Finance and Sales Industries Media and Telecommunications Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at AVA Stellar Communications Array by 2x.
