Service Designer

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Service Designer to support initiatives focused on improving end-to-end user experiences with services. This role requires a strong background in human-centered design and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and program performance.

Key Responsibilities

Apply best practices in human-centered design to improve user experiences across services.
Advocate for user needs and guide designers, researchers, content strategists, and technical teams on projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders across organizations to build customer understanding and solve complex challenges.
Support teams in developing metrics, measuring results, and implementing methodologies to optimize customer experience and program performance.
Communicate user research findings through artifacts such as personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
Plan and facilitate workshops, meetings, and interactive sessions to gather feedback from customers and stakeholders.
Identify operational needs and recommend program improvements based on insights gathered.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in user experience and service design.

Experience planning and facilitating workshops, meetings, and other interactive sessions to gather stakeholder feedback and insights.
