Credit Products Leveraged Finance Associate

Job Description The Leveraged Finance Credit Products Associate supports the Leveraged Finance Credit Products Manager(s) in identifying and mitigating risks in existing and proposed credit products. The individual will analyze new commercial credit opportunities, underwrite new or renewed credit exposure, and manage a portfolio of loans and other credit relationships in conjunction with a Credit Products Manager. Primary Responsibilities Prepares credit approval packages on new and renewed credit products, including determination of the appropriate risk rating, analysis of financial performance, covenant compliance, relationship profitability (RAROC), and other significant risk drivers. Analyzes guarantors as needed to support credit underwriting. Assists the Credit Products Manager with review of loan documents pre-closing. Reviews closing due diligence in collaboration with and oversight by Credit Products Manager. Maintains credit files including post-closing items and ensures files are complete with up-to-date information. Implements and maintains ticklers. Monitors and services portfolio in conjunction with Shared Services support. Validates the appropriate risk rating for a company and proactively identifies risk rating changes. Identifies opportunities for exposure reduction or new opportunities within assigned portfolio. Develops a strong working knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, internal bank commercial loan policy, credit risk management policy, and external regulatory requirements, documenting any exceptions and providing rationale/mitigants. This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field. Two (2) years of underwriting experience or financial services analysis and accounting experience. Ability to competently complete credit packages and credit services agreements with management oversight. Required Certifications / Licenses Completion of a major corporate credit training program (or equivalent corporate banking/corporate finance experience). Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task. Works collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. Compensation Details Pay Range Target: Minimum $95,681.36 USD; Median $116,308.50 USD. Incentive Pay Plans: Eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan with potential rewards based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
