Mechanic

Position Summary A mechanic at Hyatt will cover shifts providing maintenance across guest rooms, meeting spaces, front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems. Responsibilities Shift coverage and maintenance of building systems across all property areas. Troubleshoot and repair issues in guest rooms, meeting spaces, front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house settings. Read blueprints and schematics to diagnose and fix problems. Maintain life‑safety and major building systems. Communicate effectively with team and guests. Walk or stand for long periods and lift or carry at least 50 lbs. Available to work weekends and holidays. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years experience in building maintenance. Strong troubleshooting skills. Understanding of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life‑safety systems. Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics. Good communication skills.
