Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel Nurse for the Emergency Room to provide acute care services during 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts. The role offers an 8-week assignment working within a fast-paced, supportive ED environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations.
• Perform advanced clinical procedures including intubation, chest tube placement, and central line insertion.
• Manage patient assessments, monitor vitals, and document accurately within Epic system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including paramedics, EMTs, and unit secretaries.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and maintain certification requirements.
• Provide patient education and communicate effectively to promote positive patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with a minimum of 2 years' ER experience.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications.
• Demonstrate ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Exhibit a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Be flexible with schedule and able to work variable shift rotations including weekends.
