Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (10 months) Location: Atlanta, Georgia Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 299815 Job Summary The Mid‑Level Provider will provide primary care using approved protocols and references as a guide. The provider will consult and collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed, offer appropriate referrals, order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications and treatments under protocol or physician supervision. The position includes health education and counseling for patients and a commitment to maintaining professional standards. Responsibilities Provide quality care for all patients and promote health education across units. Manage acute and chronic illnesses; conduct travel visits; make appropriate referrals. Perform simple suturing techniques, treat basic orthopedic conditions, and interpret laboratory values. Consult with physicians regarding radiology or ECG results. Act as an advocate for the patient at all times. Exhibit a team approach to healthcare delivery. Maintain appropriate CME hours. Practice within specific scope of practice and consult with collaborating physicians. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements: Graduate from an accredited mid‑level provider program. Nurse Practitioners must hold a Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited college of nursing with a Georgia license and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse designation. Physician Assistants must have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program or have equivalent education and experience. Other Required Qualifications: Experience in ambulatory care, college health, or emergency department. Required Experience: Three to five years of job‑related experience. Preferred Qualifications ATLS certification, ACLS certification. Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record software. Strong leadership, performance evaluation, peer review, and continuing medical education capabilities. Ability to prioritize and multi‑task, with excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of infection control, preceptorship, confidentiality, credentialing, HIPAA regulations, and multiculturalism. Salary and Additional Information Salary range: Up to $92,960.00 Location: Atlanta, GA This position is not supervisory, has no financial responsibilities, does not require driving, and does not involve travel. It is considered a position of trust but does not require a purchasing card or security clearance.
